Huskystar that is…will be very busy the next couple weeks….so many sewing projects to do, so little time. Actually, a lot of other projects on the go as well. There is one knitting project, a whole lot of house de-cluttering going on, and let’s not forget my newest hobby ~ Bob the loom.

I think I need to get a day planner and start blocking hours for each project, as well as regular chores and work.

Knitted Cottage Socks

Cottage socks are different from average, everyday, city socks. City socks are thin, orderly, neat and always found in matching pairs. Cottage socks are rebels. Learning To Weave = Math???

I hate math.

I have always hated math.

Numbers scare the bejeebies out of me. Give me good old letters any day. I excelled at English, grammar and spelling in school. Math was just along for the ride, and not a very good one at that. So what does this have to do with weaving? Well, every piece of weaving you want to do will have math involved. Bwahahahahaha…the kidlets head back to school today. Thank goodness the running amok all day long, screeching like banshees is done with for another summer.

I don’t like children very much. I tolerate them at best. They are loud. They can be smelly. They can definitely be dirty…and they ask WAY too many questions.

What I Did On My Summer Vacation

I am back from Vacation. Did you miss me? I hope so.

I love vacations. They allow you to spoil yourself with too much food, too many spirits, too many late nights and too many days sleeping in. All that spoiling leads to weight gain and a vacation hangover of monumental proportions.

Time to get back in control before I become the eighth Dwarf named Glutton.
