A Canadian twist on the Classic Cuban invention. I think even Ernest Hemmingway would approve.
1 oz. White Rum (such as Bacardi)
2 oz. Strawberry Syrup
1 oz. Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
2-3 Fresh Mint Leaves
Sliced Berries for garnish
In a highball glass, muddle mint leaves and a lime wedge. Add lime juice, strawberry syrup, rum and top with club soda. Garnish with a thin lime wedge and sliced strawberries. Serve with a straw for sipping. Perfect on a hot afternoon on the patio.
