I was looking to create a new bag for my up-coming trip to México as we usually take one day to head into Playa Del Carmen for shopping (and of course, have a frosty mug of beer at Señor Frog’s while watching the ferries come in from Cozumel!), but I detest lugging around a large purse (less hands for carrying bags of goodies!)….so a different handbag was in order.

I had 2 criteria… one being large enough to hold my wallet, reading glasses and lip balm, but it also had to have a large strap so it went cross-body so I would not have to ‘carry’ it….

and….Voila!

The size is perfect, about 11″ x 8″ with a magnetic snap closure and the strap is about 45″ long, more than enough room to hold my few belongings and hang comfortably on my hip.
